A very late night with Franco, his wife and his daughter
Out to dinner last night.
I was made eat three helpings of home-made pasta. The reduced sauce was wild boar with juniper berries from the forest … in the marinade.
But honestly, three helpings were a killer.
It was only the beginning of the meal, then came lots of home-made wine.
Then to end it off home-made vin santo that Marcello’s father had made (now deceased). So very special. But I needed a truck to get home.
